POSITION: Data Scientist (#947369)
LOCATION: Hillsborough, CA
Data Exploration, analysis, and feature extraction to build and review prototype proposals to evaluate whether plans achieve model performance requirements. Create data visualizations and presentations to facilitate data understanding for internal teams and customers. Testing and applying different deep learning models to build chat behavior detection models in staging environments. Design engineering to reduce costs and improve latency. Work with product teams to determine appropriate model performance requirements and understand end customer usage of different model outputs. Work with ops team and engineering leads to ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure and scalability of deployment. Writing and checking in production code, creating unit tests and data quality checks. Documenting code and progress of work in JIRA and in standups. Reviewing code of peers. Creating and reviewing requirements of internal backend (engineering, ops) stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field.
