George Ng Named CEO;
Dennis Fong Becomes Chairman
New leadership structure supports GGWP’s and expansion beyond games

SAN FRANCISCO — GGWP, an AI platform for trust and safety, content moderation, and community intelligence, today named Co-Founder and President George Ng as Chief Executive Officer. Co-Founder Dennis Fong has become Chairman.
Ng co-founded GGWP alongside Fong, Kun Gao, and Ling Xiao, and has served as its founding CTO, helping build the real-time moderation, behavioral intelligence, and enforcement infrastructure that powers the platform. Those systems have supported more than 100 deployments across games and online communities and process billions of interactions each month.
For the past two years, Ng has served as President, leading the company’s product and operations. His appointment as CEO formalizes the leadership structure that has developed over that period. Ng will continue to lead GGWP’s day-to-day operations, while Fong, as Chairman, focuses on long-term strategy, business development, and major partnerships.
Before GGWP, Ng co-founded Cyence, a cyber risk analytics company, and served as Chief Data Scientist at Cray, following earlier work at DARPA and US-CERT. Ng holds a PhD in Economics from UC Irvine, has taught AI and machine learning at UC Berkeley, and is a named inventor on 21 U.S. patents.
“George has helped build GGWP from the beginning, and this is a natural evolution of the role he has increasingly been playing,” said Fong. “I’ll remain actively involved as Chairman, focusing on long-term strategy, business development, and major partnerships as we expand into new markets.”
The leadership change comes as GGWP builds on a period of significant momentum. Earlier this year, the company closed a $15 million Series A financing round and announced its expansion beyond gaming into publishing, iGaming, commerce, social media, and advertising.
“We started GGWP to make online games and communities safer. Games remain our core market and the source of our deepest experience,” said Ng. “What customers need from a safety system has grown: support for more policies, languages, and content types; faster and more consistent decisions; clearer audit trails; and a better understanding of user behavior. As CEO, my focus is on continuing to build that infrastructure responsibly, earning the trust of the customers and communities we serve.”
GGWP’s platform combines real-time moderation, behavioral context, enforcement workflows, and community intelligence for high-volume digital communities.
